Fantastic double balance arm floor light produced by Dutch modernist lighting company Anvia, design by Hoogervorst. Great black metal and chrome plated combination, great subtle minimal design that was clearly influenced by the Italian examples such as Arteluce.
This light offers a maximum of functionality; thanks to the clever construction the both arms can easily turn 360 degrees around the vertical bar and also move up and down. The shade itself is also movable. All parts of the lamp are complete and in perfect working order. Easy to move around in your home, gallery or workshop.
Hoogervorst was the head of the designer team of this company, and also designed the famous large counter balance ceiling lights. Together with Hala, Raak and Philips, Anvia was the leader on the market for Dutch progressive lighting design at the time.
