Great Dutch design dining table by AP originals, black metal frame with teak wood ends. Plain white formica top with black plastic rim.
As editor of the Goed Wonen magazine, Hein Salomonson supported the modern style living in the Netherlands during the rebuilding years. He also was one of the architects of the ‘Nieuwe Bouwen’ style, the Dutch branch of the International School of Modernism. He drew inspiration from the work of modernist architects such as Le Corbusier and Gerrit Rietveld. The AP 103 table is advertised in the Goed Wonen catalogue of the late 1950ies.
This table can be taken apart in flat pieces, which makes it quite affordable and easy to ship.
