Arne Jacobsen ( 1902-1971 ) at first designed this ‘Visor’ floor light exclusively for the interior of the Royal SAS Hotel in Copenhagen. It has been considered an instant classic and later being produced from the 1960ies until today.
True Danish refined combination of attractive angles and function as only Arne Jacobsen and a few other designers manage to achieve.

Original first edition in the color bistre ( havana ). This color is out of the Louis Poulsen collection for several decade (!).
