Adjustable wall light, produced by Artimeta ( Soest, Netherlands ). Typical fifties hallmark is the asymmetrical shape of the shade. Very practical thanks to the many technical details; the matted chrome plated arm is able to swival and the shade can be turned in all directions thanks to the ball-socket joint.
The practical features are quite comparable to the Anvia paperclip lights, but this light is definitely more exclusive!

Great condtion, wiring and electric parts have been checked through the whole fixture.
After the second world war, Artimeta was one of the Dutch companies that became successful producing small metal furniture and lighting designs in a new, innovative European style. The origin for using slender shapes and colorful metal for their lighting designs can be found in the work of French and Italian designers from the same era.
