Floris Fiedeldij designed this slender shaped dynamic table lamp called the ‘M1’. Very minimal, produced for a short time so nowadays quite hard to find.
The adjustable metal stand holds a red metal shade which is decorated with a die cut pattern that evokes a typical mid-fifties atmosphere.

This light is documented in the 1956 Artimeta catalogue, which shows many Mategot products; it was the time of the collaboration between Mategot and Artimeta, so probably Mategot had direct influence on the design of the M1.
