Pair identical midcentury floor lights created by Dutch lighting company Herda. Great articulating shapes, clearly a reference to the modern art movements of the 1950s.
Very practical design; adjustable horizontal arm, adjustable metal shade that can be turned in many directions. These lights can be easily used as a ceiling up-lighter as well as a powerful spotlight directed on a table or floor. Both lights have a comfortable floor dimmer. The base, arm and shade are of metal, the red vertical pole is partly made of dark red wood.
Together with Hala, Anvia and Raak, Herda was one of the Dutch innovative lighting companies that became succesful during the period 1950-1980.
Both good condition, wiring and electrical parts have been checked.
