Rare 1950ies Cosack table light, one of the best designs I have encountered.
The brass details, the optimistic color scheme and the striking shapes are very symbolic for midcentury modernism. The dynamic shapes evokes many associations, from asian culture to modern art or bird foot.
Very good condition, all electrical parts have been checked. Light source one E-14 bulb holder, all suitable for modern max 250 volt LED lights.

German lighting company Cosack became succesful developing a number of very elegant lighting designs during the 1950ies. Their products have become exemplary for midcentury modern lighting design nowadays, most of them are quite hard to find and the designs are being collected all over the world.
