Very desirable modest sized ‘snowball’ chandelier designed by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll. This glamorous piece of lighting displays the exemplary talent of the mid-century Austrian brass procuct- and lighting design; around a brass centerball small arms are arranged which ends in a bulbholder or a press-glass ornament. Each arm holds metal pins with glass facet details.
The lights’ spherical shape with its symmetrical arranged arms strongly reminds of a dandelion seed head, where it takes its name from.
