Rare Italian design icon, this characteristic small table light in the shape of a dog, designed by Fernando Cassetta – Tacman, late 1960ies. The colorful and figurative design predicts the eighties Italian Memphis movement. Signed with manufacturers number brev 15185B ‘made in italy’. The red part can open and close to dim the light ( one E14 bulbholder) When opened, the light is 23 cm in height. Would make a great match with the famous Toucan light by Oldtimer Ferrari OTF, or other pop art related items from Ingo Maurer, Joe Colombo or Guzzini.
Sought after lights nowadays. Great condition, no missing parts, no deformation, no melting areas. Original bulbholder, wiring, switch, plug. All checked and perfect working, but can be renewed if desired.
