During the fifties, Dutch company Fristho became very successful producing a wide range of modernist, Danish style furniture. Nowadays their furniture has become most symbolic for post-war European design, reflecting the new era of consumer prosperity and technological progress, using prefab materials for the production. Fristho has worked with a number of famous designers such as Kho Liang Ie, William Watting and Rudolf Glatzel.
Condition; great warm color, nice grain in the rosewood veneer, some normal usermarks consistent with age, complete with inner shelves, top is a bit darker and matted. No chips, doors and drawers function perfectly. Comes with a great packing service when shipped.
