During the fifties, Dutch company Fristho became very successful producing a wide range of modernist, Danish style furniture. Nowadays their furniture has become most symbolic for post-war European design, reflecting the new era of consumer prosperity and technological progress, using prefab materials for the production. Fristho has worked with a number of famous designers such as Kho Liang Ie, William Watting and Rudolf Glatzel. This very rare modular system was designed by Marten Franckena, 1962.

Great wood color, nice grain in the rosewood veneer. The fabric on the back is original and evokes a warm atmosphere. Overall condition; hardly any usermarks, doors and drawer function perfectly.
