Designed in the manner of famous European industrial designs by Prouve, Rietveld and Kramer ( pyramid / compass legs ). The innovative pagwood shells are designed for heavy duty; they are made of a high density veneer / resin composite and are shock-, scratch-, break- and splashproof.
The frames are made out of folded sheet metal, ending in rubber feet. Very solid, and a revolutionary design from the 1950ies. The c lever design of the legs makes it possible to create a bench in just a few seconds, just by putting one leg on the other, which will fit in each other.
Considering their robustness and ergonomic assets a large set like this is perfect to use for an interior of a vintage-minded museum, cafe or restaurant.
The metal frames are dark brown, indoor they look almost black, the shells have a beautiful dark wood grain structure. All chairs in a good condition; normal usermarks consistent with age, no cracks, no broken parts.
