Great midcentury modern looks; designed in the manner of famous European industrial designs by Prouve, Rietveld and Kramer ( ‘pyramid’ or ‘compass’ base principal ). The innovative pagwood shells are designed for heavy duty; they are made of a high density veneer / resin composite and are shock-, scratch-, break- and weather-resistant, and even resistant to burning cigarettes.
The clever design of the legs makes it possible to create a bench in just a few seconds, just by putting one leg on the other, which will fit in each other.
Considering their robustness and ergonomic assets a large set like this is perfect to use for an interior of a vintage-minded museum, cafe or restaurant.
The metal frames are dark brown ( in home almost black ) the shells have a beautiful dark wood grain structure, and have a lifting handle. All chairs in a great condition; no cracks or rust, only minimal normal usermarks consistent with age.
