Original 1960ies Galvanitas chairs, designed in the manner of famous industrial designs by Prouve, Rietveld and Kramer ( ‘pyramid’ or ‘compass’ base principal ). These chairs are made for heavy duty; the pagwood seating parts are made of a high density veneer / resin composite and are shock-, scratch-, break- and weather-resistant.
The metal frames are dark brown ( indoor they look almost black ), the shells have a nice wood grain structure. Considering their robustness and ergonomic assets the chairs are perfect to use for a cafe or restaurant.
