This superb floor lamp was produced by GEPO Netherlands. During the sixties this Amsterdam company designed a few number of great chrome plated lights. Clearly influenced by Italian designers from the same era, such as Joe Colombo and Guzzini, they have created these so-called ‘arc’ lights. The one offered here is unusual large.
Very practical design; The lamp is 360 degrees rotatable and the shade can be turned in many directions. The heavy metal base keeps the arc very stable. Very good condition; no dents in the shade, no broken parts, wiring has be renewed. Wonderfully preserved chrome!
