GOUDA DEN BOER PLYWOOD BOOKCASE
DESIGN: W LUTJENS 1953
MEASUREMENTS: H 159 W 150 D 30 CM
PRICE: SOLD
Very attractive birch plywood bookcase designed by Willem Lutjens in 1953. During the fifties and sixties a number of similar bookcases were produced, using the same modular system sticks and shelves combination. Only the Lutjens has the typical bentwood ends on the shelves.
This piece of furniture can be used as a bookcase, but thanks to its open structure it would look great as a room divider as well. Especially this very one; where most of this bookcases have 5 shelves, this one has 6!
Easy to take apart and rebuilding only takes a few minutes.

Today a hard to find design classic, especially in good condition. Some normal usermarks consistent with age.
