Luigi Massoni was given the task of developing and coordinating the the products for the Guzzini company. During the sixties and seventies he created the famous Brumbury lamp, which nowadays is a hard to find item. The large white mushroom light offered here is even more rare, I have encountered it only twice the last decade. It is made of a white heavy plastic base with a white opaque plastic shade. The lamp has four lightsources: three E14 under the shade, and one E27 ‘uplight’ in the middle. They can lit separate, it has the original multi-switch. Thanks for the sensuous curves and elegance this piece evokes a fantastic 1960s modernist atmosphere that makes a great match to all Pierre Paulin, Joe Colombo and Verner Panton furniture. Iconic Italian design of the 20th century, in a great condition with minimal wear; the shade is free of dents, cracks or melting areas. Plastic base as well, good condition, base has the iGuzzini sign. All wiring and electrical parts have been checked, wiring in the whole fixture has been replaced.
