Attractive semi-industrial floorlight by T. Busquet for Hala Zeist ( Netherlands ). The special construction of the metal shades brings both direct and diffuse light.
Because of their vulnerability this hala ‘sun series’ are hard to find nowadays. They were produced during the fifties and early sixties, and most of them have become damaged or broken during the years they’ve been used. This one is still in a good condition, normal traces consistent with age ( small paint loss around the joint, see last picture ).
