In the early fifties, the sons of Mariano Guzzini founded a small Italian company, ‘Harvey Creazioni’. The name is a reference to Harvey, the invisible imaginary friend of James Stewart in the film ‘Harvey’ ( 1950 ). After first producing artistic brass objects, the production later was supplemented by the manufacture of lighting equipment in plastic.

Luigi Massoni was given the task of developing and coordinating the image of the products. In 1972 he created this glossy and impressive large floor light, called ‘Bud Grande’. It is made of a heavy chrome-plated metal base and holder and ring with a plastic shade, ‘smoke’ color / beige. This is an original color, and a bit more rare and distinctive than the orange one. The lamp has one E 27 lightsource.
Iconic Italian design of the 20th century, in a great condition with minimal wear.
