Metal and copper pendant ceiling light produced by Dutch modernist lighting company Hiemstra Evolux. The black and white combination complements the symmetrical, industrial style of the light very well. Inside the light is a metal reflector, holding one porcelain E27 bulb holder.

Hiemstra Evolux was a progressive lighting company located in Amsterdam, founded in 1934 by Hiemstra Evenblij. Their designs were sold in luxury department stores such as ‘De Bijenkorf’, and were shown on several important design exhibitions at the time. Later the company changed its name into Lumiance BV.
