Very rare and most elegant chandelier, designed by Dutch designer J.J.M Hoogervorst for Anvia Lighting. This Dutch company created some of the most outstanding works of midcentury European lighting design. This is an early work, clearly influenced by post-war progressive Italian lighting companies such as Arredoluce, Stilnovo and Arteluce. Nevertheless, this lights truly can compete in quality and finishing details with many of their Italian examples.
Comparing to the later work, this very large chandelier has a remarkable organic appearance, quite unusual for Dutch design. Mark the beautiful striking details such as the brass material and the subtle perforation of the shades. Completely restored, wiring renewed, all electrical parts have been checked. Great opportunity.
