In the early fifties, the sons of Mariano Guzzini founded a small Italian company, ‘Harvey Creazioni’. The name is a reference to Harvey, the invisible imaginary friend of James Stewart in the film ‘Harvey’ ( 1950 ). After first producing artistic brass objects, the production later was supplemented by the manufacture of lighting equipment in plastic.

Luigi Massoni was given the task of developing and coordinating the image of the products. In 1972 he created this glossy Italian mushroom table light, called ‘Brumbury’. It is made of a Chrome-plated / white metal base with a plastic shade. The lamp has four lightsources: three under the shade, and one in the middle, hidden inside the half-sphere. They can lit separate thanks to the multi-switch.
The plastic is in perfect shape: no melting areas, distortions or cracks. The metal is free of spots and dents. The wiring of the whole light has been replaced, also inside through the whole fixture, under the shade, all suitable for 250 volt / modern LED bulbs ( E 14 ). Double switch, bulbholders etc all in good condition.
