For several decades Dutch designer Martin Visser determined the look of the Spectrum furniture collection.
Visser began his career working as a decorator for Dutch department store ‘De Bijenkorf’ before he became designer at the Spectrum furniture company in the early 1950ies.Together with other Dutch modernist furniture companies such as Artifort and Pastoe, Spectrum communicate the principles of good design to a broader public during the fifties and sixties of the 20th century.
