During the fifties, Matégot designed a series of metal furniture and household products for Dutch company Artimeta, all limited produced. Their origin can be found in the work of Arteluce and Stilnovo designs.

Together with designers Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouve, Mategot created worldwide respect for French modernist design.
