‘DESK IN A BOX’ CABINET
Sought-after design classic, this Magic Box or desk-in-a-box secretaire from the fifties. It was designed by Mummenthaler and Meier, Switzerland and created in several colors wood. This is the mid oak model, birch inside. When opened it offers easy access to many compartments and a large writing top with drawer and pull-out shelf. When opened the size is: W 163 x D 75 x H 114 cm. The compact design and the material evokes a warm and secure atmosphere. The design is strongly influenced by many midcentury European furniture makers such as Cees Braakman and Gerrit Rietveld.
