Nice puristic design of clarity and perfectly balanced proportions. The black metal and teak veneer combination strongly reminds at the designs of Cees Braakman for Pastoe.
This magazine holder is probably made by Dutch company Stiemsma during the fifties. Most symbolic for post-war European design, reflecting the new era of consumer prosperity during the second half of the 20th century. Great condition with hardly any usermarks!
