Charming and quite rare Pastoe low board cabinet of the well-known Birch Series.

Most of the times it is being offered in complete birch wood edition, but this one is originaly made out of birch and teak veneered wood. This two-tone combination and the typical bended legs gives this cabinet all the right vintage hallmarks. It also offers a maximum of functionality; behind the doors are compartments with shelves and drawers.

Good condition; doors and drawers working perfectly, as well as the doors’ lock. Some normal usermarks consistent with age.

The forward-thinking of Dutch designer Cees Braakman paved the way of success for the Dutch Pastoe furniture company. In his early career Braakman went to the US to study design and production processes. Clearly inspired by designs of Eames and Knoll, Braakman and Pastoe introduced the bent plywood techniques into their first line of modern furniture.
