In the Netherlands, between 1945-1978, Cees Braakman and his design team developed several lines of modern furniture for Dutch company Pastoe, .
This is the most attractive low boards of the well-known Japanese Series; the ‘DU-03’ with metal base. All outside lines are clean and angular; there are no decorative elements and the wooden storage space has a floating appearance thanks to the minimal looking metal black base.
Minimal usermarks, a small veneer restorage at a drawer ( see picture ).

Nice piece of mid-20th century Dutch design furniture. Great condition, all black handles are fine and very minor usermarks.
