Rosewood extensible dining table designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe.
Attractive minimal appearance and beautiful combination of soft chrome and warm rosewood veneer top.
Thanks to a clever sliding construction, the top can be extended from 121 to 170 cm. The extra top disappears underneath the large top when slide back in its original position. Hard to find in this version and good condition.

The forward-thinking of Braakman paved the way of success for the Dutch Pastoe furniture company. Clearly inspired by designs of Eames and Knoll, Braakman and Pastoe introduced the bent plywood techniques into their first line of modern furniture.
