Monumental cubist coffee table of one square meter. Original from the sixties, and clearly influenced by the Dutch modern art movements of that decade ( Cobra, Karel Appel, Paul Kingma, Jaap Dommisse ). The artist has used several textured rough parts of colored stone to form a mosaic settled in a concrete top of 4 cm thick, that rests on a black iron frame by it’s weight and gravity. Unique piece, with exceptional dynamic cubistic composition. Very good condition, no cracks, frame intact and refinished matt black. Would make an impressive center piece to any large room or lobby.
