PILASTRO CHAIR MODEL 8000
DESIGN: TJERK REIJENGA
MEASUREMENTS: W 70, H 64 CM
PRICE: SOLD
Charming Model 8000 loungechair designed by Tjerk Reijenga in 1962 for Pilastro Zwanenburg.
This Pilastro ‘8000’ chair was designed using technology for molding plywood that the Eames developed during The Second World War. The dark brown steel rod frame in combination with the natural wooden parts gives this chair a warm and light appearance. The fabulous armrests are quite comfortable as well! Great condition, this is the model of the first series, which was dismountable ( small screws instead of rivets ), so easy to ship in a few parts. Please ask for a quote for your country.
