Fabulous set of 6 very rare 1960 Wim Rietveld ‘Pyramid’ stacking chairs, produced in the early sixties by Ahrend de Cirkel Netherlands. The four chairs with armrests are from the first series, and have a beautiful grain structure in the wood and the seating parts are slightly curving at the end.
So 4 chairs with armrests, 2 without; putting them in sets of 3 at a table, this is the most ergonomic combination.
Because of their vulnerability and age, these type of chairs are usually worn out in almost all cases, though this set has been restored completely, so really is in a top condition, without any broken rivets, missing feet, wood chips or paint damage whatsoever. Nowadays possibly even harder to find than the also famous Result and Revolt chair made by the same company. Can be used instantly in your vintage home, office or gallery.
