Very desirable and exceptional large cylinder shaped chandelier designed by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll. This impressive piece of lighting displays the exemplary talent of the mid-century Austrian brass procuct- and lighting design; around a brass stem 48 arms are arranged which ends in a bulbholder or a press-glass floral ornament. Each arm holds metal pins with glass facet details, which complete the glamorous atmosphere of this magnificent piece.
All bulbholders ( 24 ! ) are functioning perfectly, the brass finish on the arms has darkened over the years, which provides a highly vintage look. The light has been checked and cleaned, the lights’ glass details are complete, and the often missing glass facet ball which hangs under the light is still complete. Comes with the original brass ceiling cap.
