Dutch company RAAK Amsterdam has manufactured a large number of great lighting designs and was one of the Dutch leaders in developing progressive lighting during the fifties, sixties and seventies. The designs are often sophisticated and characteristic and they captured the spirit of these decades very well. The company’s design team worked with national and international designers ( E.J. Jelles, Frank Ligtelijn, H. Sneyders de Vogel, Ton Alberts).
These wall lights called ‘Fugue’ ( Fuga ) and were designed by Maija Liisa Komulainen ( Finland ) and manufactured in the early seventies. Although these lamps are made of aluminium and rigid of shape, they evoke a warm atmosphere of light.
In good condition with only normal user marks. Each light contains 6 bulbholders which are all complete and in working order. All lights come with the original black holders that covers the wiring. These lights can be used right away.
