Very elegant set of wall lights, made out of metal holding a opaque glass diffuser. The fixtures are quite heavy, made out of quality materials. Both lights complete with wall suspension.
Great condition, each fixture holds two E 27 porcelain bulbholders, suitable for modern LED lights. The lights are made for hardwire to the wall, but it is also possible to let a chord come out near the wall suspension.

 

 

 

Founded by Bruno Gatta, Stilnovo is a significant part of the first wave Italian companies that was capable of mass-producing innovative, functional lighting. The company was founded in 1946, and Bruno Gatta created most of the designs. The company also worked with a number of famous designers such as Joe Colombo, Gaetano Sciolari and Ettore Sottsass.
Stilnovo’s reputation rests on its drive to engage in new materials, and in the quality finish of its products. The lighting designs created by Stilnovo are known for its well executed organic lines and especially the fifties designs have a remarkable floral appearance, which is complemented by the use of delicate materials such as thin painted aluminium and brass.
