This is a most attractive low board by Theo Arts, who collaborated with the Good Wonen foundation in the early fifties, and started a small furniture company in Rotterdam where this small sideboard was produced.
All outside lines are clean and angular; there are no decorative elements and the wooden storage space has a floating appearance thanks to the minimal looking wooden base, which has unusualy high legs, which accentuate the floating appearance of the body.
