Great minimal design and very symbolic for post-war Dutch modernism, this original Wim Rietveld Pyramid table. Though it was designed for more than 50 years ago, it still evokes a remarkable timeless atmosphere.
The frame is made of folded sheet metal, ending in rubber feet. Very solid, and a revolutionary design from the 1950ies, its origin can be found in the compass table by Jean Prouve.
This table has a black metal frame and an off-white trespa top with a refined pattern in it. The frame is covered with surface rust and paint loss, but no flaking.
Considering its robustness and ergonomic assets a large table like this would be a perfect addition for a large studio or minimalist interior. The space between the frame measures 163 cm, so the table offers space for 6 chairs.
