This famous ‘Panama’ wall light was designed by Wim Rietveld for the Dutch Gispen company in 1954, and together with the floor and table light of the same series it became an instant commercial succes.
The optimistic color scheme and the Panama-hat shade are typical hallmarks of modern fifties design. Sturdy articulated black metal arm and tomato red shade, great finishing details and very complete; it has the rare original diffuser, the original red spanner and a complete wall suspension with back part.

Very good condition, no damages, dents or broken parts, this light can be used right away in your home or office and is a must have for all collectors of Dutch design.
