Rare set of two identical ‘model 7’ wall lights designed by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce. This model was designed in 1957.
The shade is made of aluminium, the black wall cap is made of brass. Chrome plated stem with ball-socket joint.
Condition: normal wear, electrical parts checked, wiring replaced through the whole fixture, one light has the original manufacturers transfer in the shade. A small cut-out has been made in both black wall caps to let a wire come out ( original these lights are made for hardwire into the wall – which is still an option )

Together with Stilnovo and Arredoluce, Arteluce was a significant part of the first wave Italian companies that was capable of mass-producing innovative, functional lighting. The company was founded in 1939 by Gino Sarfatti, who created most of the designs.
