The designs of van den Nieuwelaar can be characterised as exoticly minimal and down to the minutest perfectly balanced. This rare floor light called ‘Disk’ was produced for only a short time by Dutch company Nila & Nila ( Tilburg ) and in quite a limited edition. The black painted iron base and pipe ends in a joint that makes it possible to tilt the fantastic opal white perpex shade. Good condition, electrical parts have been checked, perfect disk, no melting or cracks.
