Modest sized and very elegant floor light, designed by Dutch designer J.J.M Hoogervorst for Anvia Lighting. Adjustable tomato red shade, brass joint, and black grasshopper floor stand.
Dutch company Anvia created some of the most outstanding works of midcentury European lighting design. This is an early work, clearly influenced by post-war progressive Italian lighting companies such as Arredoluce, Stilnovo and Arteluce. Nevertheless, this lights truly can compete in quality and finishing details with many of their Italian examples.
Good condition, all moving parts and electrical has been checked.
