Pair of modest sized articulating wall lights, designed by famous Dutch designer J. Hoogervorst for the Anvia lighting company, 1950ies. One complete black, the other has a attractive petrol blue shade. Thanks to the metal swinging arm suspension and the ball-socket joint at the shade, the lights can be directed in almost all positions. The arm + shade can be stretched up to 80 cm from the wall.
Lighting company Anvia ( Holland ) became succesful developing a great number of subtle lighting designs for mainly home use. Thanks to the use of elementary shapes made out of folded steel and slender tube parts their designs outshine in an elegant appearance and evoke the spirit of midcentury design very well.
Both lights in good condition and in perfect working order, wiring has been replaced and all electrical parts have been checked. Great opportunity to purchase as a pair, affordable shipping when purchased together.
