From the 1930ies Anvia developed a great number of subtle lighting designs for mainly home use. Thanks to the use of elementary shapes made out of folded steel and slender tubes their designs outshine in an elegant appearance and evoke the spirit of the fifties very well.
Here offered a great set of light blue-grey / black paperclip lights ( Anvia model nr 748-08 ), design by J. Hoogervorst.
Thanks to the metal swinging arm suspension and the metal ball-socket joint the lights can be directed in all positions. Very practical design for many purposes.
Good condition and in perfect working order.
