Set of two large model, early produced ‘ AJ Visor’ wall lights in nickel-plated metal ( brass caps and steel shades ). Design by Arne Jacobsen in 1957 and made by Louis Poulsen, Denmark. Great dent free condition, not polished so with fantastic original patina. Attribution mark: clearly visible the original silver Louis Poulsen wattage sticker on one of the bulbholders ( see picture ).
Measurements: max depth from wall: 44 cm. Shade opening 16 x 17.7 cm. Shade length 34.5 cm. Pipe 21 cm. Wall plate dia 8 cm.
Light source: each light one normal E27 bulb holder, suitable for normal modern LED bulbs.
Hard to find as a set identical lights, great opportunity. Together with designers such as Borge Mogensen and Hans Wegner, Jacobsen created worldwide respect for Danish furniture design.
