‘ECO’ TABLE LIGHT

PRODUCER: ARTEMIDE MILANO

MEASUREMENTS: H 26, W 52, D 13 CM

PRICE: SOLD

Clearly a precursor to the postmodern Memphis design movement of the eighties, this rare Artemide ‘Eco’ table lamp.

The lamp is made entirely of metal ( thin rubber trim on the edge, is complete and intact ). The light has the orignal E 27 bulbholder and wiring, tested and in good condition, but can be replaced by new when desired. The weight of the light keeps the light stable and the bulb is hidden quite deep inside the lamp to avoid being blinded by direct light. Manufacturers stamp in the metal.

The Italian Artemide company worked with a number of famous designers such as Ettore Sottsass, Mario Botta and Enzo Mari. The company produced furniture and lighting, in the typical Italian styling of the sixties and seventies, comparable to products by Guzzini, Stilnovo and Martinelli Luce.

Fantastic condition; cleaned, and damage and dent free. Can be used right away in your ( Postmodern ) interior.

When ordered, this light comes with a professional packing service, based on 10 years worldwide shipping experience vintage design.
