Quit large 1960 adjustable wall light, design by Floris Fiedeldij produced by his company Artimeta ( Soest, Netherlands ). Great black, chrome and rare mustard beige color combination.
Very practical thanks to the many technical details; the chrome arm is able to twist and move up and down in it’s joint. Black suspension part with black swival arm that can be positioned 180 degrees.
The shade can move as well.
This light is documented in the 1960 Artimeta catalogue as well as in the Goed Wonen magazine of 1960 as the model ‘Ideaal’. They have been produced for only a short time, and over half a century ago, so quite a rare piece.
The practical features are quite comparable to the Anvia paperclip lights, but this light is definitely more exclusive
