Dutch company Auping was founded by Johannes Auping, who started designing and producing ‘hygienic’ beds on a small scale in Deventer, Netherlands, for more than a century ago now.
In 1953 this industrial beauty, the “Auping Cleopatra”, was developed. This luxurious daybed was in production for a quarter of a century, and has become an icon. This bed is made in dark-grey ( nearly black ) high quality metal frame with teak wood ends.
Nice condition, comes without mattrass, so perfect base to design your own daybed.
