Beautiful and quality made birch coffee table from the 1950ies. The slender shaped legs, the bars and the thin wooden top are well-constructed and form a very solid but fragile looking table design. The natural discoloration of the birch wood evokes a warm vintage atmospere in your room. This dark yellow color of the wood only comes into being by aging and takes decades.
Unknown designer, but clearly influenced by Scandinavian designers from the same era like Ilmara Tapiovaara, Borge Mogensen or Karl Erik Ekselius.
