Very rare steel rod armchair, designed by Arnold Bueno de Mesquita for Spurs furniture in the fifties. De Mesquita was one of the founders of the ‘Goed Wonen’ Foundation and magazine, which advised in modern style home furnishing.
Condition: frame inspected on broken weldings, all well restored. Upholstery and fabric: still good enough for use, but foam of the armrests is a bit hardened, seating feels fine. Fabric looks fine.
