Great set of two ‘expo’ cocktail chairs, original from the fifties. The backs are a bit larger and more shell – shaped curving than most other cocktail chairs that I have encountered. The chairs have an identical seating and back, but one chair has wooden armrests. Both chairs has the same black skai that makes a great match with the color of the beech wood tapered legs.
Dutch ‘Danish inspired’ fifties design, clearly influenced by the designs of Webe, Artifort and Kofod Larsen. Condition: Both chairs in very good, ready to use condition. Solid structure, comfortable, minimal usermarks in the skai ( no tears, all feels supple ). Upholstery feels good. Hard to find as a ready-to-use set with all the nice features!
